I'm a Brooklyn-based wedding officiant, ordained through American Marriage Ministries, and Fletcher Officiates is proudly LGBTQ+ owned. I started it because the moment you say “I do” should sound like the two of you, not like a form letter.
I write secular ceremonies, and I happily work with couples of any faith, culture or tradition. A reading from your grandmother's favorite book, a ritual from your family, a nod to your faith, or none of the above: we'll weave in whatever feels like you.
Mostly, I'm here to listen, keep things calm, and leave plenty of room for happy tears. You bring the story. I'll help find the words.

Your relationship, told with heart. A fully written ceremony shaped by deeper conversations, with personal vow feedback and a rehearsal.

All the meaning, none of the marathon. A warm, personal ceremony for intimate weddings and city celebrations.

Lovely, meaningful, and authentically you. Perfect for elopements, stoop ceremonies, and just-us moments.

License signing only
Already planned your ceremony, or having a friend say a few words? I'll meet you in Brooklyn or Manhattan, make it official, and sign your NYC marriage license. Quick, friendly, and paperwork done right.
Every package includes your ceremony, marriage license guidance, signing and filing, and reasonable planning support by email through your wedding day.
Standard travel within Brooklyn and Manhattan is included. For somewhere beyond, I'll quote travel before you book. Any parking or exceptional travel costs will be confirmed upfront.
Rehearsals: The Full Story includes one rehearsal of up to 45 minutes in Brooklyn or Manhattan, even on a separate date, scheduled in advance. Add the same rehearsal to Short & Sweet for $200.
Witnesses: Bring your own, or I can help coordinate one. Providing a witness is $75, subject to availability confirmed before booking; that fee is separate from your ceremony package.
